Product Information
FirstBank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is a 24/7 self-service platform that offers payment services to both FirstBank and other bank card holders. Some of the services offered on our Atm terminals are cash withdrawal, fund transfer, bills payment, airtime top-up, balance enquiry, and account opening.
Transactions carried out on our ATMs are with the use of a debit/prepaid/credit cards. Our ATMs are also enabled for cardless transactions and are strategically located to perform basic banking services for our esteemed customers. The withdrawal charges for other bank card holders on our terminal is N35.
FirstBank ATMs have Encryption PIN Pad (EPP) which incorporates the Tactile symbols/feature. This feature is standard on all our ATMs and assists visually impaired persons to seamlessly transact on our terminals.

Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) Guiding the Remote On-Us Campaign
- Introduction.
This campaign is designed to reward 5,000 ATM customers with Airtime value of a minimum of N100.00 (One Hundred Naira) in the mass market segments who have been consistent in generating Remote On-Us (ROU) cost by using their FirstBank debit cards on other banks Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The essence of the campaign is to encourage and reward Customers for using their debit Cards on FirstBank’s ATMs. The Campaign will be for a duration of 4 weeks from the November 3 to November 30, 2021 and the Bank will send unique SMS three times weekly and one email weekly for duration of the campaign to select Customers with instructions for participation.
Any of the target customers who performs the call to action from the unique SMS and email will stand a chance to be rewarded airtime worth N100. The “call to action” is for the target audience not to use other banks ATMs for cash withdrawal for the period of the campaign.
Note: Remote On-Us (ROU) is a monthly cost generated by FirstBank customers using our debit cards on other Banks’ ATMs. The first three ROU transactions are borne by the Bank.
1.1. Legal Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the campaign on the ATM Channel by FirstBank of Nigeria Limited (“FirstBank” or “the Bank”) which is accessed through valid FirstBank debit card.
In these Terms, “the Bank” “we”, “us” or “our” refers to FirstBank and its successors, agents and assigns, while “you” or “your” refers to anyone participating in this campaign. These terms and conditions form a legal agreement between you and FirstBank and can only be amended by the Bank. By participating in the ATM ROU campaign, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein, and subsequent amendments thereto as well as all applicable laws and regulations now existing or which may hereafter be enacted, issued or enforced.

- Campaign Dynamics
- This campaign runs for a period of 4 weeks starting from November 3 to November 30, 2021 and FirstBank however reserves the right to cancel, discontinue or stop the campaign at any time without justification or notice to any Participant.
- The campaign is opened daily for the specified period of 4 weeks.
- Eligibility criteria is carrying out the call to action from the unique SMS and email messages that would be sent weekly.
- Any of the 5,000 target customers will be rewarded with an Airtime value of a minimum of N100.00 (One Hundred Naira) for carrying out specific call to action from the unique SMS and email successfully for the duration of the campaign.
- Winners shall be collated and evaluated after the campaign and credited with Airtime value of a minimum of N100.00 (One Hundred Naira) at a date and time to be determined by FirstBank in its sole discretion.
- To ensure the campaign reward is evenly spread, a customer can only win once throughout the duration of the campaign.
- Eligibility to participate in the Remote-On-Us Campaign
- To be eligible for the campaign, you must be a FirstBank account holder and with valid FirstBank debit card.
- The campaign is open strictly to only customers that have been selected at the sole discretion of the Bank to participate in the Campaign.
- The reward is open to transactions carried out based on the unique messages via SMS and email weekly.
- Selection shall be done at the end of the campaign and winners are credited with Airtime value of a minimum of N100.00 (One Hundred Naira) at a date and time to be determined by FirstBank in its sole discretion.
- Winners will be contacted or informed of their winning via SMS Push Notification and/or Email or any other channel to be determined by FirstBank in its sole discretion.
- Offer valid while campaign lasts.
- Participation in the Remote On-Us Campaign
- Participation in this campaign is voluntary, as such no customer is under any compulsion to carry out any of the call to action during this period.
- To participate, kindly follow the instructions set out in the relevant campaign Communications that is circulated via SMS and email or in the course of your discussion with our FirstContact Representative.
- Use of Data.
FirstBank will collect personal data about participants including their name, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and information about participants. By participating in the Campaign and providing us with your personal information, you expressly consent to us: (i) processing your personal information/data as may be required by FirstBank for the purpose of the Campaign and other promotional activities; and (ii) using any data or information obtained from you, including your personal data and sharing same with other third parties, including our subsidiary companies, parent, affiliates, members of FBN
Holdings Plc’s group (Related Parties) and any service provider(s) engaged by FirstBank for the purpose of the Campaign.
- Disclaimer and Indemnification.
Each participant in the campaign agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless FirstBank, and each of its respective directors, officers, employees and shareholders from any and all liability, loss, damage or injuries to any person (including death) or loss of property of any kind sustained in connection with the participant’s participation in the campaign or from participant’s acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of the campaign reward, or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of the prize.
FirstBank reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the campaign in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and disclaims any liability, claims or losses that may arise therefrom.
- Exclusion and Limitation of Liability.
Except as otherwise prohibited under the law, in no event will FirstBank, its affiliates, subsidiaries and/or any member of FBN Holdings Plc or their licensors, service providers or their employees, officers or directors be liable to you for damages, loss, liabilities, claims, and proceedings of any kind,
under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the campaign, use or misuse of the campaign reward, including without limitation any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data and (including losses arising from FirstBank’s negligence), breach of these terms, cancellation, modification or suspension of the campaign or otherwise, even if such loss foreseeable whether or not FirstBank has been notified of the possibility of loss occurring.
FirstBank excludes liability for any problems, error or technical malfunction of any telephone network or internet data service network, servers, computer equipment, software or failure of any e-mail or any system or application which prevent you from entering into or hampers your ability to participate in the campaign or receive winners’ reward; whether or not same arises on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website (including mobile applications), or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from your participation in the campaign or the downloading of any materials in the campaign as well as any activities of hackers.
- Criminal violations.
Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, mobile app, hack into any participant’s phone number or account or that of FirstBank or any other attempts to or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign will result in automatic disqualification of that Participant from participating in the Campaign. FirstBank reserves the right to: (a) seek damages from such Participant; and (b) report such Participant to law enforcement agencies for prosecution.
- Complaints.
In the event you have any complaint regarding the campaign, the same should be brought to the notice of FirstBank immediately at our 24hour support Centre Firstcontact on 01-4485500 or email firstcontact@firstbanknigeria.com.
- General
- You shall not assign or transfer any or all your rights or obligations under the campaign.
- No third party shall have a right to enforce the T&Cs against FirstBank.
- FirstBank shall not be responsible for reward that is lost, or delayed as a result of any network, computer, or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind.

- Failure by us to enforce a right under the T&Cs does not result in waiver of such right(s).
- If any part of the T&Cs is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of the T&Cs shall be unaffected and shall remain in force.
- By participating in this campaign, you acknowledge that our determination and decision on all matters concerning the campaign or the airtime recharge will be final, and no correspondence will be entered.
- Any dispute or situation not covered by the T&Cs will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems, in its sole discretion, to be the fairest to all concerned and, subject to section 5(f), that decision shall be final and binding on all participants.
- These Terms may be amended by the Bank from time to time and such changes shall be binding on future participants upon publication.
- Failure by Us to enforce a right under these Terms does not result in waiver of such right(s).
- Law and jurisdiction.
These Terms, your participation in the campaign and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection therewith (including any non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By participating in the campaign, you agree that Nigerian courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such disputes or claims.
