Yes, you do and a new wallet would be opened for you. However, if you have money on the old funds which you wish to claim, kindly visit the nearest FirstBank branch.

No, you just have to register on one channel and use the 5-digit PIN created to access the two channels (USSD and Mobile App).

You can fund your wallet from a debit card (of any Bank), a FirstBank account, any active Firstmonie Wallet or at Firstmonie Agent location. Funding from your FirstBank account is free! However, funding your wallet from a debit card costs 1% on amount while at agent location has three charges depending on the amount deposited.

Your Firstmonie Wallet account is the mobile number you registered with.

Your Firstmonie Wallet PIN is a 5-digit PIN used to login to the app and authorise a transaction on your account. For proper security, please ensure that your PIN is unique to you and not shared with anyone.

You want to change your Firstmonie PIN? It’s easy. Just open your profile on the app and select “Change PIN” or dial *894*1#, choose “My Account”, then select “PIN Change”

Firstmonie Wallet Virtual Card

The Virtual Card is a Naira denominated debit card issued in partnership with Visa International. It is a digital representation of a payment card, linked to either customer’s account or wallet account. Unlike a physical card, it does not require any plastic representation.

You can request for your Virtual Card directly from the Firstmonie Wallet application

Immediately the card is purchased on the Firstmonie Wallet Application, a prompt for card activation is seen. Simply select Yes and you have an active virtual card. No branch visit is required.

Virtual cards issued on the Firstmonie Wallet application would be linked to your wallet account.

With your Virtual card, you can carry out seamless transactions online.

No. But you can later convert your virtual card to a physical card. Once this service is available, same will be communicated.

The Virtual card costs N215 (VAT inclusive)

NO. You can only have one card per account at this time.

You can use your virtual card up to 20 times on the Web daily.

Cards requested on the Firstmonie App can only be used for local transactions for now.

The card is hosted on the Firstmonie Wallet platform and can be used to carry out financial transactions by following the steps below:

  • Log into the Firstmonie Wallet application.
  • Select Virtual cards
  • Click on the eye icon/ Card PAN on the virtual card
  • Input your Transaction PIN/secret word
  • The concealed card details are then revealed for use
