Mr Ishaya Elijah B. Dodo was appointed to the Board of Directors of First Bank of Nigeria Limited on 29 April 2021. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Gold-dust Global Leadership & Transformation Resorts Ltd. With over 25 years of working in the financial services industry, he brings to the Board significant financial services and corporate transformation experience with emphasis on public sector marketing, credit analysis and relationship management. He previously worked with Eco Bank Nigeria, Oceanic Bank and Trade Bank variously in SME banking, retail banking, public sector, energy, infrastructure and operations, where he received awards for outstanding performance.
A graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Ahmadu Bello University and Kaduna polytechnic, he holds an MBA in Marketing and an Advance Certificate in Management. Ishaya has attended courses in Bank Lending, Credit Administration, Credit Analysis, Strategy and Leadership. He enjoys travelling, listening to music and watching sports. He is happily married with children.
