Mr. Aderemi Lasaki was appointed to the Board of Directors of First Bank of Nigeria Limited on 29 April 2021. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Portfolio Limited, an investment banking firm. He was previously Executive Director, Business Development at Globacom Limited and Executive Director, Investment Banking at NAL Merchant Bank Limited, amongst others. With over 39 years banking experience, Remi brings to the Board of FirstBank a wealth of experience cutting across Credit Risk Analysis, Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, Marketing and Security Analysis.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Management, Newark, New Jersey, USA. He has attended various courses including the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) of Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IOD), a Fellow and former Governing Council member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), a Fellow of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN), an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (ANIM), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, London, UK (CISI).
Remi is a key player in the Nigerian Capital Market, a dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, a founding member and signatory to the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the National Association of Securities Dealers Stock Exchange, (NASD Stock Exchange, Lagos). Remi enjoys discourses on current and international affairs. He is happily married with children.
