Nnaemeka Ejeh is a consummate banker and finance professional. He is the Group Executive, Commercial Banking (South) Division, First Bank of Nigeria Limited a role he assumed in March 2023. He had served as the Group Executive, Retail Banking South since November 2016 – overseeing the Bank’s retail business in the South-South and South-East Regions.
He was also a former Group Head, Retail Banking South-East, and had served as Business Development Manager for Port Harcourt South and Central Business Development Offices respectively, where he exhibited strong leadership – winning the GMD/CEO’s award for exceptional performance 14 times.
He has over 25 years’ professional experience spanning Audit, Consulting and Banking with cross functional exposure in Risk Management, Consulting, Taxation, Business Assurance and Retail & Commercial Banking.
Nnaemeka holds a first degree in Accountancy, an MBA in Marketing, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria.
He is a member of various professional bodies including – Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN), Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTI), Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA) and Associate of the Retail Banking Academy, UK. He is also an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB).
Nnaemeka is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club International. He is married with children, plays golf at his spare time, and is keenly interested in the uplift of the underprivileged.
