Flashback to DecemberIssaVybe

I am not sure how your December was but FirstBank had us all psyched and raving all through the festive season with its annual DecemberIssaVybe calendar. With feedback from participants still rolling in February, let’s take you down memory lane a minute and show you everything you missed this past December.

Just so we are on the same page, DecemberIssavybe is a plethora of events put together by FirstBank to ensure the staff and customers of the Bank enjoy the holiday season. It is one of the many platforms the Bank leverages to promote family fun-time, help her customers unwind for the year, give support to the creative & entertainment industries while also contributing to nation-building. There were parties, concerts, festivals, stage plays and musical entertainments all through the month of December. Customers won tickets to the various events while different items and cash gifts were given to customers who performed simple tasks like raffle draws, games, arcades, sharing of sponsored post, etc.

Our diaspora customers were not left out as there was a ‘homecoming’ flavour in the lineup of events like IJGBs, who reveled in local vybes, food and cultural events to welcome them.

In concert were Asaka ‘Mr Money’, Adekunle Gold and a bevy of ‘Queens’- Tiwa Savage, Teni the Entertainer, Waje, Simi, Niniola and Yemi Alade.

Asake, thrilled the fans in Abuja and Lagos on different nights and he blew off the roof on both occasions. AG Baby, as he likes to be called, electrified audiences in Lagos in an ‘’Intimate Night with Adekunle Gold’’. Everyone spent the night singing along to all his tunes and enjoying a enlivening duet performance from his wife Simi and other supporting artiste.

Tiwa Savage, Teni, Waje, Simi, Niniola and Yemi Alade psyched the audience all night long at the ‘’Night of the Queens Concert.’’ The ‘Queens’ really got the house rocking with favourite jams and tunes.

In the audience were FirstBank customers who had won free VIP tickets to these shows in the FirstBank Bankaclaus giveaway which was part of DecemberIssaVybe program.

What’s a holiday season without Santa/Bankaclaus?

SMEs were not left behind as they were privileged to pitch their businesses and get N250,000 non-refundable loan. Many customers had their devices, gadgets, Airpods and game consoles upgraded. Free data subscriptions, and shopping vouchers were also given out.

There were VIP tickets to watch Kakadu the Musical- a musical event celebrating our history and culture as a people and a great nation.

From the Calabar Carnival and Festival to Beeta Arts Festival and Super Family Fun Fair to the Street Souk; DecemberIssavybe 2023 had it all and much more and 2024 promises to beat the records.
