
You can now request or renew your debit card from the comfort of your home with your FirstMobile App and Firstonline and pick up at the nearest FirstBank branch of your choice. Just follow the simple steps below:
On the FirstMobile App:
- Select the menu button on top left corner of the app
- Click Card Services, Debit Card Request, then select card type and account to be debited
- Select State for card pick up and preferred branch for pick up
- Then, enter your PIN to authorise transaction and a code will be generated for you.
- Present your request code at your selected FirstBank branch to pick up your card.
On the Firstonline platform:
- Log into FirstOnline using the URL https://ibank.firstbanknigeria.com
- Input your User ID, verification code and password to log into your account.
- Select Self Services, Cards, Debit Card Request, then select card account and card type
- Select State for card pick up and preferred branch for pick up
- Accepts the terms and conditions to continue, input your token details and submit.
- The system generates a summary page after submission, which can be printed or saved as PDF.
- Walk into your selected branch and notify the Customers Servicer Officer of your request and your card will be issued to you.

With your FirstBank Verve Card, you can conveniently pay for goods and services and it is accepted by all ATMs, POS, Web channels where the Interswitch or Verve logo is displayed in Nigeria.
Naira Mastercard
Your FirstBank Naira Mastercard is an international debit card which can be used anywhere in the world for transactions on ATM, POS, and WEB, wherever the MasterCard logo is displayed. Your POS/Web transaction limits can be increased upon request.

Q: How do I request for a Debit Card on FirstMobile?
A: Kindly log into FirstMobile > select the menu button on top left corner of the app > card services > Debit card request. Select card type > select account to be debited > select state (location where the card will be picked up) > select preferred Branch > enter authorization PIN> System generates a reference code after submission.
Card request will be treated at the selected Branch and customer walks to the selected branch for card pick up and activation.
Q: What am I required to do after Reference ID is generated?
A: Kindly write out the Reference ID for submission at the selected branch.
Q: How will I get the card, will I need still need to go to the branch?
A: Yes.
Q: What do I need to present at the Branch to get my card?
A: Submit your reference ID or Account number at the selected branch. In addition, a BVN thumbprint validation will be required, and signoff of the Debit card request form.
Q: How long will it take me to get the card?
A: In less than 15 minutes.
A: For Expressions card, delivery timeline is 24-48 hours for Lagos branches, and 3-5 working days for Upcountry locations from date of visit to the selected branch.
Q: What time can I pick up the card
A: You can visit the selected branch between 9.00am and 2.00pm on Mondays – Fridays.
Q: What if I am a new user on FirstMobile and have no Debit card, can I still request for the card?
A: No. You need a Debit card to activate the FirstMobile platform for use.
Q: My card has expired, will the app still be functional for me to make this request?
A: Yes. Simply follow the process above.
Q: My card was hotlisted after it was missing/stolen, can I still access this platform for this request?
A: Yes. Simply follow the steps above.
Q: I have an existing card, can I request for the same card type on Firstmobile?
A: Yes, but your existing card will be hotlisted should you complete the request for the same card type.
Q: Is there an extra charge to use this service?
A: No, you will only be charged N1,000 card issuance fee when your card issuance request has been completed.
Q: I accidentally submitted a card request, how do I cancel the request?
