mVISA

mVisa is an innovative mobile payment solution that allows consumers to pay for goods and services via FirstMobile Customers by scanning a QR code using a smart phone or by dialling a USSD number on a feature phone.

Payment goes directly from the consumer’s account into the merchant’s account and both parties get real-time notification.

  • To consummate a transaction, the customer opens the mobile banking app from his smartphone.
  • Scans the displayed QR Code at merchant location
  • Inputs amount to pay, PIN number then selects “Pay” to complete the transaction.
  • After successful authorization, debit is passed to customer’s account and credit to merchant’s account on a T+1 basis but transaction notification is received instantly via the Merchant app
