USSD Customer Loyalty Reward Promo

1. Introduction

This loyalty promotion is designed to reward 894Banking Customers that have been inactive for 30days with Airtime value of the sum of N400. To qualify, customer must use *894# to carry out any USSD transaction.

1.1. Legal Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the promo on Customer Loyalty Reward on the USSD Channel by FirstBank of Nigeria Limited (“FirstBank” or “the Bank”) which is accessed through any phone by using *894#.

In these Terms, “the Bank” “we”, “us” or “our” refers to FirstBank and its successors, agents and assigns, while “you” or “your” refers to anyone participating in this Promo. These terms and conditions form a legal agreement between you and FirstBank and can only be amended by the Bank. By participating in the USSD Customer Loyalty Reward Promo, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein, and subsequent amendments thereto as well as all applicable laws and regulations now existing or which may hereafter be enacted, issued or enforced.

2. Promotion Dynamics

  • This promotion runs for a period of 5-weeks (35days) and may be discontinued or stopped at any time by FirstBank.
  • The promotion is opened bi-weekly (Wednesdays & Fridays) between 9am and 11:59pm.
  • 13,000 customers will be rewarded with an airtime value of N400 each for carrying out any transaction on USSD (*894#), which is further broken into two: 2,600 in November and 10,400 in December.
  • In November, the first 1,300 customers who use *894# to carry out any USSD transaction will be eligible to be selected as winners per winning window as indicated in clause 2b above.
  • In December, the first 1,300 customers who use *894# to carry out any USSD transaction will be eligible to be selected as winners per winning window as indicated in clause 2b above.
  • To ensure the promo rewards are evenly spread, a customer can only win once in a cycle (month), i.e. once in November and December respectively. This implies that a customer can only win twice within the 35days period of the campaign.
  • Winners shall be collated the following days (Thursday or Saturday) and credited with the airtime value of the sum of N400, T+1 basis.

3. Eligibility to participate in the USSD Customer Loyalty Reward Promo

  • To be eligible for the promotion, you must be a FirstBank account holder and enrolled on *894#.
  • The promotion is open strictly to only customers that have been inactive on *894# for a period of 30days
  • The reward is open to transactions conducted between 9am – 11:59pm Wednesdays & Fridays
  • Selection is done bi-weekly; however, winners are credited with airtime value of N400 the following day as provided in clause 2(g) above.
  • Winners will be contacted or informed of their winning via SMS or Push Notification and/or Email where applicable
  • Offer valid while promotion lasts.

4. Participation in the USSD Customer Loyalty Reward Promotion

  • Participation in this Promo is voluntary, as such no customer is under any compulsion to subscribe during this period.
  • To participate, kindly follow the instructions set out in the relevant Promo Communications that is circulated via FirstBank Social Media Channels or website (www.firstbanknigeria.com) or in the course of your discussion with our FirstContact Representative.

5. General

  • You shall not assign or transfer any or all your rights or obligations under the Promo.
  • No third party shall have a right to enforce the T&Cs against FirstBank.
  • FirstBank shall not be responsible for reward that is lost, or delayed as a result of any network, computer, or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind.
  • Failure by Us to enforce a right under the T&Cs does not result in waiver of such right(s).
  • If any part of the T&Cs is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of the T&Cs shall be unaffected and shall remain in force.
  • By participating in this promo, you acknowledge that our determination and decision on all matters concerning the promo or the airtime recharge will be final, and no correspondence will be entered.
  • Any dispute or situation not covered by the T&Cs will be resolved by Our management in a manner it deems, in its sole discretion, to be the fairest to all concerned and, subject to section 5(f), that decision shall be final and binding on all participants.
  • These Terms may be amended by the Bank from time to time and such changes shall be binding on future participants upon publication.
  • FirstBank shall not be liable to any participant for any loss, liabilities, claims, and proceedings arising from or otherwise in connection with this Promo. Therefore, you agree to and hereby indemnify and hold FirstBank harmless against any loss, claims, and liability whatsoever that you may incur or suffer as a result of or in connection with the Promo. Please note that the usual FirstBank terms and condition for the use of your USSD code will apply.
