This Privacy and Usage Policy covers First Bank of Nigeria’s treatment of personally identifiable information that you submit through our corporate website, online Banking website and the use of our on-line/website services and contents (which are hereinafter jointly called “ the Service”).

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies and subsidiaries that are affiliated to First Bank of Nigeria Plc, all of which have separate Privacy & Usage Policies. Accordingly, your use of this website is defined and governed by First Bank of Nigeria Plc’s Privacy and Use Policy, as appearing hereunder.

Information Collection & Use

When you complete any form on our corporate website or online Banking website, it is normal for you to be asked to provide such information as your name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, post box number or private mailbag number, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you fill this form on our websites, you cease to be anonymous to us, you are no longer “just another visitor” thus making it easier for us to customize our qualitative services to suit you.

You agree that regardless of any provision of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the use of the Service or the Terms of Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose failing which same is without exception, barred and extinguished.
